But Liquid Carbon Dioxide or Compressed Carbon Dioxide Gas (CO2)
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
We offer compressed carbon dioxide gas and liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) in a variety of purities and concentrations including but not limited to beverage grade, food grade and USP. Download Safety Data Sheets or see the chart below for more information on buying liquid carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide gas.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
Carbon dioxide is a key cryogenic agent in cooling, chilling and freezing applications, protecting the taste and texture of your food products by maintaining proper temperature control. In carbonated beverages, CO2 provides the bubbles and plays a role in pressurization. Greenhouse growers depend on CO2 atmospheres for vibrant growth. It is well known in the oil industry that carbon dioxide can be applied to your reservoir as a tertiary oil recovery method. We can provide CO2 injectivity testing, pilot applications and full-field projects. We also provide CO2 services for energized fluid fracturing (fracing) in conventional reservoirs for both long-reach horizontal and vertical wells. A safe alternative to mineral acids, carbon dioxide (CO2) replaces chemicals used in pH reduction — lowering costs and improving plant safety and flexibility. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is used in the pulp and paper industry to control pH levels, enhance pulp yield, and wash brownstock and bleached stock. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is most often mixed with argon as a shielding gas used to prevent atmospheric contamination of molten metal in electric arc welding processes.
