Our COJET Gas Injection system uses a process and injector nozzle that delivers a 3-to-5-foot laser-like coherent jet of oxygen at supersonic speeds into the electric arc furnace. The fixed, wall-mounted injector nozzle retains the original diameter and velocity of the oxygen jet, delivering precise amounts of oxygen with less cavity formation and splash compared to traditional manipulators. This gas injection technology allows for automatic furnace operation. COJET for EAFs

COJET® Gas Injection System
COJET® Flame Guard Panel
The COJET flame guard panel has been developed to provide an option for mounting COJET injectors, minimizing interference with the refractory lining in electric arc furnaces and with structures on the outside of the furnace. The panel has been successfully tested and offers advantages, such as customary high decarburization efficiency, broad burner capabilities, low maintenance, extended life and added improvement in refractory life.
